nerf health regen from life drain

1. Wizard should always one-hit kill by the priest.
2a. Archer and thief should NOT be one-hit kill, unless your hp isnt full or you have problem potting
2b. If priest wants to one-hit kill, he/she must use staff, which lower the ac by 3X.
3a. As a warrior, when you have ca/st/ac/smart/eva on during a fight 24/7, ofc you will LD till your pots run out.
3b. Each Ex from warrior/archer/thief, kills one pot, how you expect a priest to kill pots?

All above are based on D4, but not d3 or lower.

Another thing:

Just simply look at the % of classes been played in the server.
You will see which class most urgently needs nerf/power up other class.

The company must spent $$$$$ on testing the ratio when the game first came out.

Key question:
You are all using d4 characters fighting, but what weapon are you using? A: D3 weapons

Using another famous Chinese server as an example:
D4/D5 weapons all gives different bonus hp according to different class
(well hp amount and dmg of the weapons needs testing and must be different here as that server tt cap at 240)

When HP bonus are added, this post will not exist.
So instead of rolling back... think forward.


I think you forget that the original settings, rares were not easy to make. G8, G9, G10s were near impossible to make.

That will definitely unbalance things quickly.

Things aint even balanced now.
(Personally i dont see how rares has to do with LD amount)

When testing, you always test the limit but not always normal average people can do.
Thats how to avoid overpowering

maybe my english was so bad, or well you dont stand me well what i try to say.

im not talking about NERF the damage of the life drain, i am talking about THE HEAL REGEN that a priest gain from a life drain

life, HEALTH, recovery HEALTH, the hud RED that apearence on the bottom left of the corner of the hud!!! HEALTH, that thing that when you get 0 you die, that thing i am talking about, i am not talking about the damage, i am talking about that red thing that priest gain when he use a life drain!!!

maybe you dont stand me well ^^, actually priest land a life drain and gain the same amount of HEALTH, if he gains 75% of heal that he drain or 50% of heal that he gain he will have to pot for sure

If thats what you mean,
I dont see how this will be an issue then.

in every fight, priests are always the one who get focused first.
Priest spells sucks (dmg, not to mention how difficult to cast magic while been attacked and blued)
Priest are basically useless after anti-curse and return curse spell.

I dont see how priests should be nerfed in this matter.

anyways, just my own opinion, everyone wants the classes they dont play nerfed
somehow, i dont see any new suggestion that will bring back the game population
but all suggested to make certain players life easier lol

yet STILL in every fight, they r the last ones standing. look at mazes and last man standing events. its always priests. but that is kinda their "specialty" of surviving for long time so i have no problem with it for now

no shit priest damage spells suck, theyre PRIESTS. their main role is not do dish out damage, if you want that go play wizard

let me guess, wizards protect from missile spell is overpowered cuz thief/archer cant kill them at all with it, right? this is a team game.. if someone has anti curse spell, they will die to physical damage, same way a wizard with pfm will get cursed or killed by warrior. dont only look at the pros of a spell and ignore the cons. but i do think being able to use return spell on thief/archers is silly

ca/str kills more potions without u even having to do anything, but i think everyone already agrees that it should be nerfed

I agree with ss on the subject that we nerf the priest ld to no heal it does play a big role in sustaining on vudu i blow throw pots at quest because ive got pepsi and the whole other side trying to kill me because of my class. I think buffing other spells could be cool but with the d3 spell and how this game is if i used that and it got buffed i cant pt vys automatically caualties from friendly fire will become a bigger problem no? And desire / robber is op af prob the biggest reason i shiftex to warrior

Cut lf to half or 1/3 of its current effect and cut ca strike chances and effect too.because they are way too op. Ca/strike can down atkers hp to 1 in almost every couple of atks with no effort while classes that use physical dmgs needs to try everything to do a double atk which requires tons of skills and also needs to deal with the ping.LD sure can't kill in one shot but what it does is it restore hp to full before other classes can generate next atk. So here we with both combined we got a class that does highest dmg and don't even have eat much pot.is this fair to other classes? I'm glad to hear gm are making changes to it but I just want to point out what is the real advantage of ld and ca is.
