Dear Players,

After debating with Players and GMs, we have made a choice for the next tweak to balance more Archers in the game.
We will, if majority of players agree, tweak the skill Converting Armor, giving it its "real" usage (as more or less described in the ingame tooltip).

We believe this tweak will give a lot more interrest and balance in Archers because, as they are the class with the lowest AC, they can then decrease the AC of the other classes since they can't up their own AC. (We believe that increasing the Archer's AC will do nothing but making it more like thieves)
This will give them some support role.

The Tweak will be the following:
- Converting Armor can now be used even when the Archer is being protected by any protection spell (SFD, Bless, Protection, etc...)
- Each shot of a Converting Armor arrow will add a stack (lasting 30s for example) on the target. Each stack will decrease the target's AC (by 5 for example). The maximum of stack is 5 (so 25 AC decrease in total for 2min30 for example).

- If the Archer dies, changes map, log out or hit another target, the stacks on the current target get removed.
- Converting Armor will not pierce Complete Sanctuary anymore. (We are not sure yet about this point, please tell us your opinion in the replies)
- If the Archer changes skill (like switching from Converting Armor to Extrem Fire), the stacks get removed <=== Please tell us your thoughts about this !

The accuracy and the damages of the skill will remain the same.

If you are against this tweak please explain why and give some feedback.

Charles doesn't like it because he's a warrior... But overall it's a good idea, although I don't like how it won't pierce sanctuary anymore. That leaves only warriors with pierce skill, and SS is just a huge pain in the ass to begin with. I still voted yes.

Well, it's just a thought, since the skill will already add much to the archers.

i think the -ac stacking should work diferent when archer hit two or more player at same time.... because, ac converting is rly hard to hit, those arrows are like a flying fridge... then is so easy hit a wrong objetive, and lose all staks on target....
i think, the archer only can distribute 5 to any target... and when hit the 6th then remove only one from the first target, if this isnt the 6th,if the 6th is same as the first, remove 1 stak from the seccond (im no sure about this, but.... the first part i think will be good)

- 1 here wizard cant have more ac ... on it so now - 25 ac for 1 stack.. ... wont acceppt this things ...

Its not -25 for 1stack but -25 for all 5
Edit: If it is as low as -25ac for total i would suggest increasing archer ex by 5% at the same time.

I voted no, because Archers gonna use this only when he and his party overnumber the enemy, so it will be a skill to bully. In middle of PK is hard to use and this not solving the fact archers die too fast, this dont solve the fact archers dont have skills to combine in pvp.
Archers will still weak.

The whole idea of this skill is to make archer able to kill same way as they are able to die :) "easy"
Physical damage classes right now are somewhat like this:
Warrior - low damage, high ac and hp +curses
Thief - moderate damage, high ac and moderate hp+curses
Archer - moderate damage, low ac, moderate hp... +no curses..
Instead it could be archer high damage, low ac, moderate hp+ status change (ac drop)

After dropping opponent ac i could change to ex and deal more damage hence have atleast 2 fire skills in conjunction( 2 skills that can be used together)... archer could use one more conjunctoning self buff skill (curse resist, increase critical, strike/desire)
That third skill could take the spot of the bugged fleet missile or alternative idea is to increase fleet missile since damage to the point that it is valid combat skill... right now fleet missile is just a normal attack+30% damage that can even miss standing opponent and has 3 charges.

Anyway i hope archer becomes more interesting to play by december , i will surely come back to play
