I did not say go away. This argument is pointless, as AFK leeching will not be changed as reflected by the GM team's position and public opinion. Thank you for your input, unfortunately it will not be entertained.

I take your example. Police and Criminals.

In real life.
1. We report to the officers with some snaps and videos.
2. The officers receive the report and "went to the crime scene to confirm this case"
3a. yes, they're really doing illegal things in private.
3b. officers busted the criminal "by hand".
4a. no, this is a false report by the citizens.
4b. warned them for false report.

In DRG.

you see, they have miss one important action that they must do is to "go to the crime scene"
I understand the GM's don't have time. but do you GM's understand some people love this game but don't have time?

AFK-Leveling is just wrong and its perfectly reasonable of GMs to prohibit doing it.
In fact, I´d be quite pissed, it if was allowed and ppl would be afk-lvling x chars at same time, while with other chars upping their jobs (afk of course as well)...

yes, afk lvling is wrong. but afk leeching is different.
leechers does not exist when the party allows. and some people must rely on leeching to keep up the levels. don't forget more people in the party = less exp.
if they allow the leecher to leech it's their loss.

I don't like this attitude "if you don't have time, then you don't have time"
go away if you don't have time? why can't they stay?

I've read the rules on reporting afk'rs and they make it very difficult to make a false report

Take a minimum of 3 screenshots. One of the screenshot must show you initially asking the question if he is present and another that must use "/normal note" as well the time showing that it has been 5 minutes since you initially asked the question. All other screenshots must show that "/normal note" was used and a question asking if the player is present

Kinda hard to falsely report if you do it properly and if you do it wrong they won't accept it.

Most people like google overkill and take like 8 or 9 screenshots but the more the better.


I for one am against afk leveling and afk leeching. 99% of the time I leech I'm at the computer. If I'm away I'm getting something to drink or bathroom (or FOOD O_O. I got needs lol) and at that point I move my character away from the party. I try to help as much as possible but if I'm too low for the mob I support the party members only. Or Lure. But with afk leeching, your still afk leveling because your afk + getting exp. Same exact results... I'm sorry if you don't have time, just means it's going to take longer to get high level. I don't have all the time I use to anymore. Same can also be thought of with sharing accounts though. Your away from your character while someone is getting your exp for you but we don't talk about that do we ^^

What leecher can gv to exchange ? Lower exp for others? Leecher doing ntg n just standing there

Let's put it this way. AFK leeching is a subcategory of AFK leveling. What you are arguing is a difference between leeching and leveling. Just because you're AFK leeching instead of AFK leveling does not mean it makes it OK. If we had to follow your logic, then all forms of AFK game play should be allowed, and you clearly object to that.
