2. Priests already have a support role. Making SS self cast only does not diminish their vital role in war as a support class.
3. Stop bringing archers into the picture. Their defense drop is pathetic at piercing SS'd characters.
4. You can charge multi before SS goes on you.
1. the reason we're even debating this is because people claim ss is unbalanced. You seem to be pro-changing ss therefore you believe there is some unbalance with ss.
2. there's many types of support. What about using ss on a weaker player so he doesn't die as easily or make a shield by standing on top of their stone while defending? Or I really need to afk for 5 minutes somewhere and there's no safe places around where the party is and I don't want to run for 10 minutes to get back/die?
3. I'm fairly certain there's a bug/trick to ac drop. I've seen archers do 40K damage with pierce arrow before when their normal attack is 20K...
4. that's only once. It takes 10 seconds to use up those multi charges then you can't charge again for 3-5 minutes. not significant.
1. Just because others want to change it based on it being "unbalanced," doesn't mean I think it's unbalanced. Perhaps you need to read my posts a little more and realize I said SS makes war boring as hell and something that brings more trouble than benefit, which doesn't mean it's unbalanced. Don't put words in my mouth based on what others have said that support my position.
2. By your logic, the character with SS on that is weak will die to a warrior right away. Hence that tactic is irrelevant. If you want to AFK in PvE situations, log the hell out. That is not a reason to keep SS as it is.
3. You've seen it do that much damage on a target with no SS. Defense drop itself does higher damage, but it doesn't do shit against people with SS on.
4. And once is enough to seriously damage stones. Have a couple archers/thieves/warriors charge up their damage skills, SS them, and charge the stone. If you really want war to be fun (in which case, the fights are much closer), then that can make the difference between victory and defeat.
Anything else for me to knock down?
