How about a command that disallows Sant to be casted on one's self?
/allow sanctuary
/reject sanctuary
Or something weird like that.


as you were to having nothing done and i never said that i gave my opinion on what i wanted, it to be removed, as you did when u said ud quit before they made any changes

and those commands still wouldnt prevent them from ssing their entire team

How about making SS self cast only for PK Mode. Then if you want to cast it on another player, make it so the other player has to be in either peace or battle mode. If the player switches to PK mode, SS effect is gone. This makes SS still usable for PvE but makes it less retarded for PvP (outside of war).

i like this idea too i just want something where 1 person has the ability to completely ruin a pvp fight/dungeon event/war with high masking and 5+ min SS while using it on themselves / other people

"any changes" is incorrect.

I stated that comment in reply to:
remove for cc+ or self cast only monsters pierce at high level anyway its not fun playing if everyone is in ss and single targeted misses over n over

Please double check.
Those two options are way to messed up.

1. Would basicly cause me to stay at 99 forever If I were a Priest.
2. Kills over half the usefulness for the skill.

how does self cast make u remain CC for ever? SS at high lvl isnt even needed all the monsters pierce past ettin lvl

no? u said casting on urself to tank while focusing on other char and that u liked to mess around with it for skinning which you'd still be able to do at cc if it was self cast only?

I voted remove for CC+.

As for quests, SS should be completely disabled. All summons and bosses in quests pierce for a reason. Maybe ss was meant to be disabled during quests. :W:

You already know I'm going to come up with an excuse about helping a friend or my own low level mules in whatever way the situation requires.
So lets skip past that and...
How about you tell me why you think disabling sant from general play / self cast only / disable for level 100+ is better than ...

1. A command to disallow it to be casted on one's self
2. Disable it from being used on an enemy in war, or at all during when joined in war
3. Disallow it to be casted over other protective skills.
4. [Coming up with your own way that does not destroy the way the skill is used in PvE. Again not all level 100+ players consider a skills usefulness for only their own leveling. I used to also sant my friend while I killed man-scorps and he butchered for me using a low level character.]

im sorry sai but this game is alot larger than skinning man scorps and scorpions and using SS to skin them, its not even necessary to be able to skin them, especially when theres a higher level there doing the killing

for your #1, already adressed ok nice cant cast on you they will cast on their teammates making it impossible to kill them and then they sit there in the SS attacking you without them taking any dmg for minutes at a time

#2 only covers a small aspect of the problem of them ruining the pvp in dungeons, world pvp, and other events

#3 same answer for #1 unless you buff your enemies but why would u want to buff your enemies

#4 well gee wiz! guess what the topic is for


also all you ever defend not changing it with is that you want to use it on low levels or for skinning, which is completely unnecessary if it was self cast u can still tank the monsters for your friends or if was removed for cc+ then its not like its rocket science to cast a heal every 60 hits on yourself

SS at cc+ / being able to cast it on other people completely ruins the pvp aspect of the game, they sit in SS for 5+ minutes and then cast it on you as well so u cant even load a skill for hte 5min putting them so they wear off at different times so u can do a 1-2 single hits on the target between SS, which makes it viable for a single priest to single handedly delay a dungeon that would normally take 30minutes to hours or a war where you could actually participate in combat against other players or breaking stones to single hitting stones making war boring and even less appealing to join

so how about you come up with a reason to leave it the way it is other than for tanking man scorps, where SS isnt even needed to tank
