I say go Archer. We will probably have an abundance of Thieves in comparrison to Archers. That's my only reason why.

Archer is much funner to play. I would not worry about the whole AC thing, you will see when you get pretty high Level.

archers are better till' DC

Dual Class Archers are pretty bad ass, then again a Dual Class Thief ain't no puss. You got goods either way man.
