Pike has a lower STR requirement that other weapons (excluding grapple) and the STR is instead put into DEX. The total STR + DEX that pike needs is only 5 more points than the STR all other (except grapple) weapons require. Pike is a good choice because at D3+ you're going to want to use the Harper boots (167movp archer/thief shoes) anyways that requires DEX to use.

but its boring
the only warrior i'll pick is fencer
