We have currently picked 2 hosts in the Netherlands but we haven't decided which to choose yet. So therfor, we would like your opinion. We would like your to ping and tracert the following IPs:
94.228.215.100
93.190.137.7
188.165.193.199 (current host)
New IP to test: 70.38.27.250
Paste in this topic your pings and tracerts and as well tell in which country you live.
To do a ping or a tracert, open your "Command Prompt" (type cmd in the execute window in the start menu of window) then type ping IP (for example: ping 188.165.193.199)
same for tracert (tracert 188.165.193.199)
To copy the results: right click in the window and select 'Mark', then select the information we need, and simply right click again. The information should now be on your clipboard ready to be pasted to the forum.
Here a little help in images if you're using Windows 7 or Vista:
First go in your start menu and type cmd in the research field, then press enter:
Then, to ping, type the command and press enter, like this:
And for the tracert, type the command and press enter, like this:
Then, using the "mark" option when right clicking, mark your tracert like this:
For windows XP, it's the same except that you type "cmd" in the "Execute" window.
