1. Weapon
Staff - Priests' main weapon. Cannot equip with shield. Lowest damage output when compared to same level non-wand/non-staff weapons.
It has long attacking delay time and long interval time of attack. However, this is the only weapon that a normal priest can use with the highest damage output.
Sword - Priests' secondary weapon. Can equip with shield. Priests who want to level their parrying tatics, or in a fight, will use this. It has the shortest attacking delay time so most of the priest will use this together with Life Drain to kill people.
Knife - Priests' secondary weapon. Can equip with shield. Mostly for leveling parrying tatics only. You may also choose to use it with Life Drain.
Spear - Priests' secondary weapon. Can equip with shield. Only those priests who want to level their parrying tatics, or in a fight, will use this. It has short attacking delay time so some of the priest will use this together with Life Drain to kill people. It has the highest damage output in single handed weapon.
Shield - Priests' defence boosting equipment. Requires the tatic Parrying. Shield give extra defence point(AC).
2. Leveling
Basic Strategy - Priests usually act as a tanker or/as same as a mass healer in leveling. They use Complete Sanctuary to protect themselves from being hurt by monsters, but be careful about the magic time...It is very easy to die if your party does not finish most of the monsters when your protection fade out.
There are several types of priest before Level 101 stat redistribution.
Type A - Pure Priest
Do not level in parrying. Add stat(WIS & PS) according to the magic requirements, and add CON/MOVP after learning Lethy's Authority. Use staff to fight against monsters.
Type B - Warrior Priest
Add WIS & WS till they have learnt Miracle of Recovery(Some may choose Complete Sanctuary instead). After that, they add CON & STR & (DEX) for using high level sword/(pike) and priest clothes. They use those weapons to level parrying faster to 100.
Type C - Thievery Priest
Add DEX & MOVP till they have learnt Miracle of Recovery(Some may choose Complete Sanctuary instead). After that, they add DEX & MOVP & CON for using high level knife and priest clothes. They use knife to level parrying faster to 100.
After 101 stat redistribution, most of the priests will add WIS, PS for dual spells and CON for HP and DEX, MOVP for shoes. They will also add ENDU for higher magic defence. They will level at Venom Dungeon as a tanker/healer as well, you may act as a blaster once you get the spell Authority of Farencha. Remember to get your parrying to 101 first when you reach 100Lv
3. Magic
Priests do not have CP or Mana. Their power is so called Divine. It cannot be restored by any potion...it can only be recovered by yourself or the magic Pray, as priests will have a portion of their Divine recover in a certain period of time. Or you may use 'Nature' rares to speed up your Divine recovery.

Please refer to the above website for the detailed requirements of each magic.
Here are some comments on the magic
Important spells are coloured
Authority of Restoration: A very good low level healing skill which heals proportionally to the caster's life gauge. Can target non-caster player.
Save From Danger: An extremely useful protection skill which cuts off 40% of melee damage and resist most of the curse, excluding Blindness, Life Drain and Vampire Touch. Can target non-caster player.
Authority of Lose for Sight: Useful curse magic to some people who have lag problems. Cannot target yourself.
Divine Bless: Protect against curse, excluding Life Drain and Vampire Touch. There are some rumors that players will get increased tatics exp if they have this magic in effect. Can target non-caster player.
Authority of Recover from Poison: Only cure poison. Not much useful. I will not tell you illegal thing about it....(in this server GMs do not allow afk leveling)
Holy Light: The only area attack magic of priest in low level. Can target non-caster player.
Authority of Recover from Illness: You will not use this magic once you have learnt Simunian's Authority. Can target non-caster player.
Holy Fire: Switch to Holy Light please......
Anthem: Cannot use on the caster. If the deduct NK effect valid, the targeted player will have 5% exp deducted. For leveling tatics only.
Complete Sanctuary: Extremely useful tanking skill. Block all damage if the caster's orison is 41 or above. Can be pierced. Can target non-caster player.
Appreciate: You will not have time to use this skill to read your opponent's HP...Works in players only. Fun skill.
Cancel from Counteraction of Divine Grace: Usually not use in low level. It can block all curses, including Life Drain and Vampire Touch. Can target non-caster player.
Miracle Shield: Not too useful since the magic duration is too short. It takes the target as the centre of the area.
Authority of Greatest Luck: Extremely useful in hitting monster with melee attack, and more importantly, to ensure the hit is valid after used Life Drain. Can cast on yourself only.
Return from Counteraction of Divine Grace: Reflects ALL* curse(including rares!). Usually use together with some masking(defence) magic such as Lethy's Authory and Authority of Athyas. Can cast on yourself only. (*Negate the effect of Falling Disease only)
Power of Pray: The most important aid magic.
Pray: Cannot use any attack magic while this magic is in effect.
Miracle of Recovery: Another important tanking skill for high level mainly.
Rage Blast: Not useful at all.
Great Pray: Not too useful since the magic duration is too short. It takes the target as the centre of the area.
Rage Stone: Better than Rage Blast, but still not useful.
Authority of Whole Save: Best ress skill.
Holy Rage: Linear attack, can use in VD but....
Life Drain: Main pvp skill for priests. Kill people instantly with a successful melee attack immediately.
Divine Power: Switch to Charisnumen's Authority.
Turn Undead: No use...
Charisnumen's Authority: Best area magic for leveling/soloing during mid level.
Rage Light Ball: Best single target priest attack magic.....but not strong......
Lethy's Authority: 40% Physical damage defence and 20% Magical damage defence, good defence skill use with Return from Counteraction of Divine Grace, as it does not have any anti-curse ability. Can cast on yourself only.
Holy Cure: Best group healing and curse removing magic. Cannot cure Petrification casted by wizards but can cure group petrification casted by Death Knight/Death Lord/Lich in Undead Dungeon. Restore food gague to maximum as well.
Authority of Athyas: Good skill. The 30% movement increase is really useful. Can cast on yourself only.
Authority of Farencha: A random attack skill, you will never know where will the holyflame strike. However, you have no choice as it is the only attack magic with the highest damage output. May strike 3 times or more at the same spot.
As a priest, you can learn ALL of the above magic. One thing magic differs from combat skill is that using magic requires casting. Casting is the concentration of divine power, all you need to do is to just wait until a GREEN ring surrounds you, at that time, you can target on monsters or players and the magic will start to take effect.
The GREEN ring will only last for a few seconds, if you want to increase the duration, you may use 'Bear' rares. It is possible for monsters/players to interrupt while you are casting, in such a case, you possibly have to cast again.
4. Stats
Priests have no stat point to lose, so be careful in adding stats.
Stats for priests are
WIS - you need to add this according to the magic requirements, otherwise you cannot learn them. Requirement of staff and hat as well. High WIS will decrease magic casting time.
PS - more or less same as WIS. It also increases your maximum Divine value.
CON - increases HP by intervals of 5. Requirement of priests cloacks.
MOVP - Requirement of shoes. Higher level shoes make you run faster!
STR - if you are Type B priest, add this as it is a requirement of warrior weapon.
DEX - if you are Type C priest, add this as it is a requirement of thief weapon. (and high level shoes as well!)
ENDU - lowers magical damage. Usually add this after Dual Class 1.
5. Rares
I will only list some useful rares of priests only.
Force - Increase physical damage. Used for leveling parrying and whirling. G20 max.
Hardest - Increase physical defence. Used for tanking scary monsters and pking. G20 max.
Smart - Increase dodging rate of physical attacks. Used for tanking and pking. G10 max.
Strike - Randomly reflects damage based on the physical damage you have received from the attacker. Use for pking with non-magic class only. G10 max.
CounterAttack - Randomly reflects damage based on the maximum life of the attacker. Useful in pking with non-wizard class. G10 max.
Life - Increase maximum HP. Used for tanking? G20 max.
Speed - Run faster! G20 max.
Nature Vigor - Increase priest magic damage. Optional. G20 max.
Basic Resist - Increase the probability of magic attack that ignore the target's magic resistant. More useful in wizard. G10 max.
Resist All - Increase magic resistance of all elements. Used in pking with wizards. G20 max.
Resist Blaze - Increase fire resistance. Used in pking with wizards. G20 max.
Resist Lightning - Increase lightning resistance. Used in pking with wizards, especially those with BloodLightning. G20 max.
Evasion - Increase dodging rate of magical attacks. Used for pking with wizards. G10 max.
Wise - Decrease casting time. Used for pking/fast healing. G10 max.
Slack - Slows down your opponent by chance. The actual effect duration is longer than the theoretical value. G10 max.
Personally, I recommend priests to make Hardest, Smart, CounterAttack, Resist Blaze, Resist Lightning, Wise and Slack.
Reasons:
Hardest - Priests need defence! If your defence is very high, you are undefeatable!
Smart - Good for tanking high level monsters which ignore Complete Sanctuary. Good for pking with Thief, Archer and Warrior as well if they do not use candle.
CounterAttack - Imagine a few stikes made by others will get his/her HP down to 100 or something?
Resist Blaze - Imagine Flamewave does 2000 or less damage to you per hit.
Resist Lightning - Imagine Blood Lightning does 6000 or less damage to you per hit.
Wise - Priests cast very slow......Faster LD = more chances to kill your opponent. (Pick a G8 Legend Saint Cloack in mazes is enough)
Slack - Slow is always good. Can be blocked by Priest's anticurse magic and curse potion only. (Bug your opponent!)
7. Dual Class
Becoming dual class you have to reach a certain level and do some related quest.
For Dual Class 1, you have to obtain an Extreme Stone.
Each dual will give you a total of 100 bonus stat points with different combination based on the class you have chosen.
Let's take a look of Priest symbol first!
Warrior - Templar [Cyclops skin] (+40CON, 54STR, 4WIS, 2PS)
Defence increase and attack success rate increase (Hardest+Accurate)
Thief - Fallen [Cyclops skin] (+27DEX, 45MOVP, 22CON, 4WS, 2PS)
Movement and increase physical attack dodging rate (Speed+Smart)
Archer - Avenger [Dark Bear skin] (+54DEX, 18MOVP, 22CON, 4WS, 2PS)
Movement and attack success rate increase (Speed+Accurate)
Priest - Saint [Cyclops skin] (+40WIS, 29PS, 31CON)
Increase priest magic damage and decrease priest magic casting time (Nature Vigor+Wise)
As you can see, you will have to hunt 20 cyclops skin first if you want your symbol.
If you want to be a tough priest, go for Templar as G4 symbol will give you 40AC. Some stat losses.
If you want to be a running priest, go for Fallen. Some stat losses.
If you want to use Authority of Farencha wisely or want no stat lose, go for Saint.
Avenger is not recommended. Not popular and useless. Some stat lose.
Hunting cyclops skins is a annoying process as cyclops are too dangerous. It knows Apocalypse and Flamewave, the latter one might get you down in no time.
