No, on defense you get get more pwp for killing some one. I think it doubles the pwp gained for killing some one who is attacking your nation
example, if torment was defending vys and would have killed some one attacking vys, he would have gotten 40 pwp instead of 20 because he is defending. If the person killed had more than 400 pwp, he would have gotten 60 pwp.
