or replace it with something that actualy makes an impact on the character may be let people chose a main atribute if:


str: +%dmg based on str on certain wepons, nothing big 0.05 per point (33.6% with 672 str)

same with the rest of the atributes, wis for priest spells int for wizards ones, constitucion could give life regen and similar thing to the rest.

33% of a 30k hitting archer would come out to be 40k dmg

the 33% was to the base dmg:

base dmg+33%+z+skills+rares not (base dmg+z+skills+rares)+33% of the result, the extra dmage will be 3-4k not realy gamebreaking but still something that gives more options when making a character.

i use str as an example dex will give dmg to bows/knife wis to priest spells int to wizard spells, cons could give life regen like 0.005%/sec of max hp per point and so on, just wanting to suggest a sistem where people when creating the character can select a principal atribute and get an small extra when spending points in it.
