Question about RE-product: repair durability

as title... wondering this "repair durability" is to fix the gear to its current durability or fix it to brand new??
for example warrior gear " Full Plate Helm" the new durability 328/328
If it has been used for a while then coming to like durability at 150/210, then I use this "repair Durability", does
if fix the helm only to its current max durability 210 or return to the new one durability 328
?
