At D4:
1. Thieves/wiz almost clearly has an advantage over Archers.
2. Priests draining 44k, leaving only 5k life on archer/thief. That means in most cases, with staff: hit, ld, hit (2 hits total).
3. Wiz requires 5 BR FW or 3 BR BL to floor priests with lethy
4. Some characters can't use counter spell as they don't have enough stat points.
At D5:
1. Archers gain the ability to use LD. Virtually a priest that uses 314movp shoe, and able to use DS knives. Using shield+ca+strike/eva versus thief/archer/wiz. Switches to bow for warrior/priest. Any edge thieves/wiz have to date, eliminated at D5.
2. Priests drain 47k. Max hp of thief/archer is 55k. 8k hp left. That means in most cases, with staff: hit, hit, hit, ld, hit. 4 hits in total, a lot harder than while at D4. Almost 2 times harder. (unless you got 170 whirling, needs only 3 hits. But still, its harder than at D4)
3. Wiz would need 5 BR FW or 3 BR BL to floor priests with lethy (remains unchanged)
4. ALL Warrior, thief, archer has enough stats to use counter spell! Rendering priests not able to kill anything other than wizards. But priests survive well... they can ress... that's what I call balance!
At the current setting, D5 would balance out archer, and the overpowered priest's current killing ability, at least by a bit.
Most of all, I see it unfair to archers that dreams to use LD since day 1, balance or not, it is unfair! At least open D5 WIS for archers (lol? no...)
