only to say one thing hacking is hacking either way do a ip ban sounds great to me but dont hacked accounts have to have the hacking program to do anything ie if i hack from one ip and then log from a different is the char still hacked or does it only hack for that one ip?

if i was a gm, here's what i would do. let the hackers play until they get to a high level and get attached to their characters. by this time i'm sure they would have donated money to get ingame RE. after this you can ban them.

that's like saying, someone killed somebody else just to test how good the law system is. and they should be released from their penalty just because they said they were helping the law system.

If a military force wants to test out how good their weapon is, they wouldn't start point their guns and start shooting anyone on sight.

If GMs wanted to improve their system, there's plenty of ways to do it, and if they wanted ppl to hack to help, they would off arrange a time for them to do it secretly like during a server maintainence or something.

With that said, those that were banned were banned because they were doing the server no good. Otherwise they wouldn't even be on the BAN list.

about the testing part, how would u know the antihack is working if u know who and when he's hacking? gm's are trying to catch all the hacker, and not just those who test it. an anti hack gets tested the best in the field.

as for the military, they test new weapons out on dolls, metal plates, shooting ranges right?
