Not because of Pking, it's because they're testing the game only. and they have their final decision is to not continuing playing

Believe it or not, I haven't past lvl100 in every server I played so far. you're too kind to say that.

Already know. due to the lack of advertisement and updates, but mostly the expanding of mmorpg's. resulting DR not a good long term online game to play.

Because the majority are the first type of person.

I think the majority is that DR is a 2D game and it never update new version. all you see now are the players that has been in the 5 server's that you're saying (you could see it in the player introduction section). many 2D mmorpg's server got closed because of the low graphics. now people are demanding high quality, amazing skill moves, and 3D. the only old 2D game I see that survives are Maple Story and Ragnarok they even have new player's joining in every month. why? BECAUSE THEY UPDATES!!

I'd say the whole PvP mode is likely the best option. While your idea is intriguing, GMNyx, it feels like more work than its worth and too many ways to exploit it, and it sounds more complicated than it needs to be.

How about this;

In own-nation maps, against same-nation people, unless you are in PK mode, you cannot be PKd and (obviously) cannot PK anyone.

So, if you are in Battle, someone in PK mode cannot attack you. And you cannot attack someone in PK mode. If someone is in PK mode, they can attack others in PK mode, and get attacked in turn.

If possible to enable that, it would be a quick and easy solution. At least, I think so.

Then we can leave neutral maps alone (since some people actually like leveling in neutral maps for the chance of encountering lower levels to PK with.) Otherwise, the whole below level 100 system also messes it up if it doesn't take into account different nations.

activated at levels from 1 to 100
disabled after reaching CC (100 level)

If attacking char is more than 15 levels higher damage would be reduced by 100%
If attacking char is 10 levels higher damage would be reduced by 80%
If attacking char is 9 levels higher damage would be reduced by 70%
If attacking char is 8 levels higher damage would be reduced by 60%
If attacking char is 7 levels higher damage would be reduced by 50%
If attacking char is 6 levels higher damage would be reduced by 40%
If attacking char is 5 levels higher damage would be reduced by 30%
If attacking char is 4 levels higher damage would be reduced by 20%
If attacking char is 3 levels higher damage would be reduced by 10%
If attacking char is 2 levels higher no damage reduction

i still think this is the best solution so far... turnning off pk in nation maps is bad sinse you cant attack someone that is irritating you... this way you prevent higher lvls from killing noobs and give noobs a chance to fight back pkers.. ofcourse this values need to be balanced so you dont invert the roles like someone said already... someone lvl 71 fighting someone lvl 76 with debuff should be a fight more like 2 lvl 71 fighting and not making lvl 71 stronger then lvl 76

i think the overall idea is really good just need to play with the numbers a little more to find a better way to balance things and ofcource it should only work against own nation.. pkers from different nations should have full dmg against others

It is refreshing to see that this server is willing to take a step up and do something to protect the lower level players.

If i may, just a suggestion, which shouldent be to hard to implament...

Why not have it where, only same level can pk same level... and have this work up till level 100... example..

only a level range of 21 ~ 30 can pk level 21 ~ 30
and a level range of 31~40 can pk level range 31~40

etc...

that way both pker, and one being pk'ed has a chance to win the battle.

and i still dont.
lvl 20 char cant win of a lvl 30 char who has first multi.
a lvl 31 char with lvl multi cant win of a lvl 40 char with more cp and lvl 3 multi.
...
there so many pkrules suggested and most of them hv a lot to abuse but i'm still a fan of no pk in own nation by own nation

I am a fan of no pk in nation, but in some cases, you do have that little annoying asshole come along and just gets in the middle of everything just to cause problems, ks, draw mobs else where, etc....

its almost like your trading one evil for another.
