it was only beta realy... i'm going for Zero Tolerance for hackers on official for sure... but from what i've seen from hackers on beta wasnt really worthy to ban their ip's YET...

In any case you dont think people will get bored at live? And like someone already said the reason they cought so many is because they were not even hiden it. In live they will be more sneaky.

i am takeing a stance. i believe we should not be banning ip's yet. because the hacking on beta really wasnt too bad. and i think if the old accounts are unbanned then it will be easier to find repeat hackers. that it why i am leaving my vote as agrea with the gmsp

Look at the amount of 'hacker reports' and look at the amount banned. You still think that most of them got caught because they were reported? It's easy enough to hide from people, but you can't 'sneak' a hack when the server detects it.

IP bans rarely works, from what I hear. And if all characters are wiped, it makes no difference if the accounts are banned or unbanned, either way they'll play their old account or make a new account. And there are other reasons for doing it, which would be foolish to point it out in public.

that's why I asked what the server rules were. the gm's didn't provide me with any details. they were not clear on official rules so it's only fair to unban them.
