How do I make a guild logo transparent?

DR will take care of converting it to 16bit

And I guess you meant 8bit, because 256bit... XD

I use GIMP to edit it. I dunno how to save it as 24 bit. And what do some people mean by "green background"?

RGB values;
red, green, blue
000, 255, 000

Green 255 = transparent color.

After editing on GIMP, open it on msPaint > save as... > mark.bmp > 24 bit
