You're requested to get 20 Garnets, however the npc says the following:
"Hurry in bringing the 15 peridots please."

@70 Mining (bug)
You're requested to get 50 Crystals. However when handing them in, they arn't removed from your inventory.

Same bug for Fishing o.o [[the same as the 70 mining one up there]], I deleted my topic just finding out that Xen Xen made one .
P.S. They also take all of your required material for fishing. For example, it would like you to get 60 Salmons, and you have 84 Salmons in your inventory, it will take all 84 Salmons instead of only 60. At least that's just what happened to me o.o. my salmons... It happened also with the needed 50 mackerels, it took all 54 of mine.
