Candles and potions effects

Do candles and potions work on monsters including bosses?

E.g. invalid magic vs monster spells, agility vs monster hits?

Actually they don't anymore. That's a change we've done for the Halloween Update otherwise people would just use them to be invincible at the event. That's a change we're keeping since we don't want PvE to be easier, in general, because of these potions.

How about candles?
Doesn't work on monsters too? E.g. ac candle, power candle, agility candle

Maybe should rework invalid magic instead of immune magic damage, to "reduced magic damage taken by 50%" or something.
