Dear Players,

We were also thinking about increasing a bit the damages of the Archers due to their lack of AC.
Please vote in this poll how much you think should be the increase.

I actually thought long about this, but I still decided to go for 10% because the thief's shield ( the one he holds not the skill ) gives about the same result in terms of defence.

Just how much magic resist do all other class get at d1 from shield (white ac)?
I tested that g4 fire resist is much less resistance than for example 24white ac shield(d1 wizard)... not to mention 32ac shield priest/thief get from d1 and its resist all...

How in hell does a 10% damage increase balance archer horrible(allmost none) magic resist and 172max ac (compared to 200+ all other classes).. i mean even with g10 evasion a flame wave hits so much damage that even a 50+ level difference wizard can 1fw an archer...only difference is that evasion gives you 1/2 chance to survive and 1/8chance to survive vs same lvl wiz . 32ac from shield is definetly more than 10% physical resist..not to mention magic resist.

Also all classes but archer have defence skill/spell that goes together with their main skill.
Maybe give archer similar skill but only spell resist... like fire shield. Duel/arena is also very nice part of the game's PvP, i duel alot every day... so i can say that thief with lesser rares and less tactic hits infact 30% more damage than archer due to the icing armor.

Increase archer damage 15% and give 30ˇ35% spell or fire/or spell resist skill to archer and lets see what happens. Then archer is still very vunerable to physical attack but dont die to lvl47wiz with g15mv and 100tt.. if you are afraid that it will overbalance archer at lower lvls, you can add the skill requirement dual 1 for example.

Also archer dies alot in war, those very common d1 130+tt wizards spam alot spells and even a scratch is usually fatal... this way it is extremely risky to attack further than Great Grass, because of the new system you loose 50wp every time you die in the enemy map...and archer dies ALOT.

But OK, 10% is a start... lets discuss more.

Please show more math to your theory. I will respond back once you actually show some real math to it.

For example... 3 ac = 1% Physical... Therfore 32 ac = 10.67%
So its really not alot more than 10%...

Increasing damage for 1 class affects more than just 1 class. It means that all other classes will be affected. Archers increased damage will mean that wizards will complain soon about how they "have no choice to use pfm" now when in reality you mainly only want to balance archer and thief.

Add STR requirement to shield > isolated buff to 1 class.

Don't wizards easily kill archers? So they're supposed to survive archer's attacks while archers can't survive theirs? What kind of logic is that?!

Not at end-game levels/rares when archers wear G8-G10 evasion and have 40K+ hp.

Wiz was just an example. 200tt G20 froce archer will easily be able kill a D4 warrior with a full xfire.
