+1 to icon or timer
I wouldn't support if only the in game buff graphics on players are working perfectly.
Too bad the buff graphics bugged so much, it's just stupid to keep guessing and periodically (and frequently!) asking for rebuff, or buffing yourself.
No one in the game, however pro they are (not even you Colomax, and I'm not saying you're pro either), know precisely when to rebuff other than using gut feeling, or estimated+repetitive guessbuff.
While it becomes part of the game, in some way it nullifies quality PK. Everyone knows those without protection spells on them are free kills.
These players are being punished for being bad at getting lucky at guessing that their buffs have ran out because the buff graphics cannot be relied upon.
This game buff system is unique in a way that, new buff cannot be implemented while the old instance is still active. Leave it as it is.
But it needs to be complimented with a working system that allows players to track the buff durations.
If implementing buff icon with/without timer is too much to ask, can GM maybe fix existing buff graphics to actually matches the buff duration on players?
The fading effect was supposed to tell players that their buff is running out so they can get prepared to rebuff.
But apparently with magic/nature stay, masking, aid rares, the graphics don't get adjusted properly.
