I'd like to see the horse being used as a way of transport. This means greatly increasing the speedbonus. Would add some use to it seeing as besides the look it's fairly useless.

Yea, make it switch your character to peace automatically while equiping the horse and while riding the horse you cannot switch to battle or PK mode. Just keep the current horse incase there a whines about not being able to ride in combat what so ever and make an exact copy of the current horse but change its purpose to a matter of faster transportation.

What do you mean with that?

If you wear shoes, you can benefit from the rare effect you can give to them, when you wear a horse, you lose that G effect, since it doesnt apply to saddles.

Making a separate slot for horses means you can still wear them, thus keeping the effect active, giving another bonus.

but what about nation flags then?

Only the exact copy I was talking about will force you to go peace while giving a much greater speedboost, people would still be able to ride the other horse for fighting while mounted or running around with that flag.

There's armored horses and battle flags in the game as well, if i remember well, the more fame you have, the more armor your horse has. I say if you think about giving a bonus, give it to those variations.
