Dual 5 Balancing

Dear Players,

With the upcoming addition of the Dual Five, some balancing need to be done. As everyone know, the Dual 5 priests and warriors (as well as thieves) have a huge amount of life and resist which makes them very very hard to kill since the Tactic are caped at 200.

After talking with the GM Team, we were thinking of highly lowering the max CON and ENDU of D5 and giving 100 free stats points which the Dual 5 can put wherever they want.
We will later on put our number ideas of the CON and ENDU caps of D5.

If you have any other suggestion regarding that balancing, please feel free to reply to this topic.

Regarding any suggestion about increasing the Tactic Cap, we don't want to do this as it is already a pain to get 200 Tactics.

We have come with an idea for the CON nerf at D5:

Each class will receive a different CON nerf at D5.
Here from Highest nerf (left) to lowest (right)
Priest > Thief > Warrior > Wizard > Archer

Why Archer would have the lowest nerf?
Because they have no shield and we need to give them something that gives them advantage over thief. Maybe they will have less AC but they will have at least more life.

Remember this is only a SUGGESTION.

I who played Both Archer and Thief for long time, if your going give them more con then give thief more atk power. Archer have best atk power in the game. Thief have more hp and con but we can live longer then archer but not do as much dmg as Archer can do.

Way to balance this would be to make the 2 point on xice,xfire,x for warrior etc work. to do more dmg. Instead of doing Nerf for CON and ENDU.

No if they enable 3 then there nothing to stop us from killing everybody. level 2 is just fine.

This should be like this:

Priest > Warrior > Thief > Wizard > Archer

Not the other way.

Give no points to dual 5 just the dragonslayer title

increase tactic cap when dual 5 is released

Priest > +20 Con to Priest dual 4 stats
Warrior+ 20 Con to Dual 4 Stats
Thief + 20 Con to dual 4 stats
Mage + 30 Con to dual 4 stats
Archer+ 70 Con to dual 4 stats


@ Carmichael, The difference between Thief and Archer is not JUST damage

Thief has the following

Shield , Pepsi , Ice Shield (which can be combined with multi shot and x ice), Poison, Slow , Invisible


Archer Has

No Shield but same HP as a thief with about 70 AC less , Ice shield but cannot be used with X FIRE or Multi Shot , No Pepsi , No Poison , No Slow, No Invisible

Archer is the easier class to kill and only does slightly more damage than a thief, If anything a archer should have between a dual 5 priest and dual 5 warrior amount of health , simply because they only have around 104 AC thats including g20 force , firebow , g4 symbol and 2 star crests

The reason i'm saying don't nerf wizard as much is because they hit so high and have a lot of defensive buffs and are quite an independent class , where as a archer is only effective when he has a priest or wizard to buff them

I know a lot of people will disagree because they don't want their chars to appear "weak" but trust me , to kill people on a archer with no buff solo is ALOT harder than killing people solo on a wizard, priest, thief or warrior, if you dont believe me go and try it

Please consider my idea !!!!!!!

D5 !!!!

Dual five!!!

should all depand on what U DUAL

for example!!!

If U DUAL warrior , Ur STR cap will be high!!! then priest can use 100 lvl pike!!!

If U DUAL archer, Ur DEX cap will be high!!! then mage can use 100 lvl bow!!!

If U DUAL thief,Ur Move cap will be high!!! then priest,mage,warrior can add move to havey(225move) shose!!!

If U DUAL mage, Ur INT,MP cap will be high!!!, then archer can learn 5 tile lightning!!!

IF U DUAL priest, Ur WIS cap will be high!!!, U can learn to LD !!!(BUT WARRIOR CANT DUAL PRIEST HERE)

SO the result will be:
priest dual either warrior or thief----------- use 100 lvl pike or wear fast shose (D5 priest sure have enough point add STR or MOVE)
mage duel either archer or thief------------use 100 lvl bow or wear fast shose (D5 mage surehave point add DEX or MOVE)

archer and thief dual mage or priest--------- dual mage to use lighting lvling magery and use ice/fir arrow, or dual priest learn LD

warrior dual thief ------------ just runing raster
