that may be a bug

but in my test, when a theif wear desire rares
with a full ex, around 70% of time, priest will be 1 hp(may be is a bug), but theif hv 4xxx-9xxx (not 1)
that is full ca and strike, also not always reduce to 1 hp

even the priest is at 1 hp after desire-ed ex,what is the odd for thief/archer to land a finish blow?
and comparing desire/robber to ca/st is kinda stupid no?

for desire/robber to work,ur hp must no be full to take effect,do u realize that how hard is it for an archer,even thief with high ac,im pretty sure their survivability is halve with these missing hp

u should go try on a duel with that 2 char,and see what are the outcome ;|

i just report the testing result that all
that what i find in the test, the result show that desire can really reduce the effect of ca, strike
for priest to theif 1 on 1
i think no any class have obvious advantage
coz theif can pespi, posion and desire
priest also hv chance to kill theif

but when no any ca or strike ( in same level one on one)
priest no chance to kill a theif

How are you getting these test results? Try real combat. I have robber rares and I even borrowed desire from Thomas. You know what the result was? I still died almost the same as before, except I managed to drain a few more pots before doing so.

In wars you see D4 archers and thieves and even warriors dying to D1s and D2s with a CA/Strike combination. That in masses. How is that not OP? This especially makes me laugh since I suggested a flame shield for archer which reflects only a very small portion of damage, 10x less than strike. People called it OP. Now they are claiming that strike is not OP? :roll:
On the other hand there is no way Robber/Desire will give you a killer advantage over someone who's 20 levels and 2 dualclasses above you. It's not even a fully effective counter for CA/Strike, it only eases the pain sometimes.

I feel like all the priests in this thread haven't played any physical damage classes on this server. In the past CA/Strike were less OP because rares were harder to make.

Can a GM take position about the thing Cell is claiming? About the hidden rerist priest robes.
And why it doesn't suprise me at all that only Priests are currently protecting CA/Strike and wont admit that is way too overpowered? Only Impriest kinda agreed to the suggestion as a Priest.
Now, about Thomas, he has his warrior called Sentinel, I dueled him a few times and if you would tell someone who has no idea about DR that I have a level 150 Chara with full tacticts and rares, and my opponent is around 30 levels lower than me, and does not have so good rares, what would you think he would say? To who would he bet all his money? What is the logical conclusion here? Shouldn't it be me who rules him? Well ya, this is what the guy without DR experience would think, cause it's the only logical thing, but Sentinel had only to open his autoclicker and wait for me to basically kill myself. That's what every priest does in this Server, if they would atleast have to use some LD power to finish their opponent it would be fine, if CA/Strike would work in a supportiive way I wouldn't mind, but when a Priest needs only to hit me with their sword ( and we are talking about 400 damage here) you can't say for god sake that things are balanced here. And Thomas could just hide behind his warrior and abuse it like most of the people so, but atleast his pointing the problem out. And ya, Sentinel won a few Duels, but he shouldn't win one, cause that's what logic says. And to Kador, ofcourse DR has a perfect pvp-system, but like you said, the system is perfect, not all the rare values.

My complain about removing/nerfing it is just because everyone wanna make Priest weaker, but no one is really trying anything to replace the lost.

Lets say they remove CA/Strike. Answer me: What would a Priest do?
Also, ask someone who have never played DR. Ask him what should a Priest do. Them tell him what priests really do in this game. Ask if they would like to be a priest. I wouldnt.

Make Counter Attack & Strike work exactly like Robber & Desire.

They won't work if you have full HP!

And mb you should try with desires and robbers rares and see how you'd feel

I duelled with MofoMayCry with desires, robbers, sometimes he almost caught me with the effects of them
Anyways, like I said many times, nerf if you want
OP or not, you still need skills to kill, that's all.

But one thing I wonder, if you guys nerf them, would there be any new atk or def spells for przs?
So far only got LD which is the most useful
Don't tell me to use D3 spell, pretty lame one.
Don't even tell me to use staff, you can't even tank AN EX.
Don't tell me prz is a support class only for ress buff, they have a right to ASSIST in kills no?

Like I mentioned before, prz doesn't need to take the lb, unless you wanna be the hero.
