the only way this could be done without generating so much problems would be if only archers and thiefs has this tab changed and all other classes stay the same..

i know changing this tree would make warriors more powerfull but thats why i also said to make a change so it doesnt affect warriors cause it would be really painfull to have a fencer being able to use poison skills
archers and thiefs in this game is a lot similar the main difference is that archers should be more focused in attacks and thiefs in deffence. all skills in ice tree is usefull for a thief and just some on the fire tree is usefull for an archer. thiefs and archers can both use all skills in poison tree but guess what? just thiefs can use then since archers need to go fire. i really dont see this skills being more usefull for an archer then the fire skills but it would be cool to have more options to play...
and again.. if you want to compare this game with other concepts just remember that this is the only game archers play as a melee class and dont have any usefull ranged skill, i just though of that after looking in the skill trees and realizing that poison tree is useable by archers/thiefs/warriors without any restriction of weapon so the skills are already planned to be used by all classes
edit: despite my sign im not going to play archer so.. no im not trying to make my own class better =P
