For this event, there was an announcement but usually there aren't. The server is set to turn them on automatically.

Yeah it makes perfect chance to do that. Wish I had thought of that before lol but it's not that easy to "fix". If there's a similar prize in the future I'll be sure to make note of this.

The chance to get a gemstone is 3/18 in those quest. And the time you need its much more . Merchants are artisians, not monsters killers, should have a different quest to get gemstones. What about something like "dismantling" skill for merchants to use on rares for a chance to get materia...

Just some ideas... numbers are estimates and probably bad estimates with no thought whatsoever. Do-ability was considered but does not mean the suggestions are absolutely do-able, most I probably have no idea.
